The Koon Town Poultry Farming Small Grant Project

Community residents were hired to construct a poultry house using traditional mud bricks. A manager for the poultry house is being trained by AgriLife-Liberia’s technical team. Local school  students receive poultry management training. The students have cultivated an acre of cassava for start-up feed while awaiting the arrival of chickens.

Court Case Lost to Extend Liberian DED Beyond March 2020

Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) protects approximately 4,000 Liberians residing in the United States from deportation.  Liberian diasporans with DED status lost their suit in the District Court of Massachusetts against Trump for ordering their status terminated in March, 2020.
