As part of expanding its mining operations, ArcelorMittal has opened a $7 million Vocational Training Center for Liberian youth to become, at no cost, electricians, heavy-duty mechanics, and mechanical fitters. The expansion will allow iron ore shipments to triple to 15 million tonnes each year.
