
Emma Sherbine

From July 2024 to July 2025, Emma served as a Peace Corps Response Volunteer at the Gateway Vocational Training Center in Bentol City, Montserrado County, where she worked as a Digital Outreach and Resource Mobilization Specialist. In this role, she managed external communications, developed newsletters, coordinated outreach campaigns, and supported community events. Prior to her Peace Corps service, Emma gained experience in communications and digital strategy through her work and research with Musizi University in Uganda, and her work as the President of the United Nations Association chapter at Soka University. She also supported the International Youth Conference, has been a featured speaker for ECOSOC, and has been a youth delegate to the United Nations. Emma is currently based in Monrovia, Liberia where she strives to be actively involved with Friends of Liberia programs.
