Meet Ms. Junita Sangare- FOL Membership Committee
Junita Sangare is a student at Luther College, Iowa USA studying Global Health and International Studies. She is also a graduate of the United World College ISAK Japan and the Salvation Army William Booth High School Liberia.
Junita Sangare comes to Friends of Liberia with a strong passion for young women’s education and women’s empowerment. Enthusiastic about development in Liberia and Africa, She has co-directed and implemented several developmental projects including Project Education for Africa and Project for Peace- Empowering women with sexual reproductive health education. She believes that girls and women can lead the path to their ideal lives as long the right opportunities are provided. Her mission is to empower young women with educational opportunities to lead healthy, purposeful, and productive lives that ensure they stand for themselves and transform the futures of their communities. She is committed to achieving this mission with the support of everyone standing together.
Junita hopes to support and strengthen FOL through its membership committee. She works with Maxwell Sines to ensure that the committee functions and effectively delivers on its responsibilities.
