Liberian Studies Association member Robtel Neajai Pailey has been appointed Assistant Professor of International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics.
In her professional career, Dr. Pailey has taught at various institutions in Liberia, Ghana, the United Kingdom and the United States,. Her work has been published in academic journals, edited book volumes, newspapers and magazines. She completed BA degrees in African Studies and English Literature at Howard University, an MSc in African Studies at the University of Oxford, and a doctorate in Development Studies at SOAS, University of London, as a Mo Ibrahim Foundation PhD Scholar.
