Lassa Fever is a deadly disease caused by eating food, drinking water, or touching household items contaminated by feces or urine of infected rodents.
The Ministry of Health is conducting an awareness program to sensitize Grand Bassa residents on how to prevent the disease.
Since Jan. 2019, there have been 25 confirmed infections in the county and 4 cases have led to death.
