Liberian Studies Association Elects Leadership at 51st Conference

The Liberian Studies Association re-elected Danielle Tanaa Smith as president and Samuel Toe as the new vice-president.  The election was during the Liberian Studies Association’s 51^st conference held April 11 to 13 at Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois.

Toe has been guest lecturer of international relations at the University of Liberia’s graduate school, assistant foreign affairs minister and a hearings officer for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
