The Friends of Liberia Landscape Paper is a document that provides descriptions of organizations and NGOs and their work in Liberia so that the reader can get an accurate view of all the organizations working within the country.

Last year the paper was expanded to include technology education in addition to the literacy education organizations, which was the sole focus of previous years. The 2021 paper features not only literacy and technology education organizations, but has expanded once again to include healthcare organizations.

In addition, GlobalGiving Liberia was added as a separate section of the paper. The paper also has two accompanying Liberian maps: One identifies literacy and technology education sites and the other healthcare organizations. All can be found on the FOL website.

The landscape paper requires many hours of work from a subgroup of the FOL Education Committee and a tech consultant. Jinny Hesel is the coordinator for the group and heads up communication with Liberian and Liberia-associated contributors along with the research, writing, and selection of photographs for the paper.

Other members of the team this year are Education Co-Chair, Kristen Grauer-Gray, who wrote a section of the paper with Jinny Hesel, Mary Gemignani who has been involved with the paper for many years and is now responsible for curating the maps, and Dave Eller, the tech consultant, who assisted with the final formatting.

Thank you to the team for all of your hard work, and thank you to our donors who make these projects possible.
