The faculty who went on strike to demand back pay for July and August have agreed to resume academic activities and to accept salary harmonization imposed by the International Monetary Fund. Since the strike disrupted class registration for the new term, late fees have been waived.
By closing government offices in Harper earlier in the week, student protests helped bring about resolution of the strike issues.
